With this piece I have tried to show the amethyst as the primary stone, adding peridot because the colours go so well together. In addition to that amethyst and peridot are great healing stones. Within the bail, there are small faceted peridot stones, carefully set. There are several types of weaving techniques used in this piece.
Beautiful green glowing chalcedony beads woven with fine silver onto a strong frame of sterling silver, with a sterling silver chain joined with a silver bolt clasp. The small beads on each side are faceted amazonite 3mm, and the beads in the middle are amazonite 6mm.
Amazonite soothes the spirit and calms the soul.
Measuring from end to end 51.5mm (approx 20 and 1/2″)
This piece used to be a Sheffield teaspoon and I have turned it into a pendant, the metal is EPNS. Secondly, I have placed a silver bezel on it and then set the amber into it. Chain not included. Makes an interesting talking piece.
